Well, its certainly not a story with poetic heroism and larger-than-life-motives, more in the league of grubby le carre coldwar era spy dramas.
I don't approve of the methodology of the theft. It was too sneaky and snakey. If the people involved wanted to hurt Taggart personnel and directors for slights and insults and such they should have taken the money and published what they had done boldly.
But that's my personal taste for the dramatic coming through.
On the other hand, I'm not sure there is sufficient evidence to suspect this polaris fella of doing anything beyond the scope of his volunteer status. Ultimately these chaps are players too.
I think it would have been better for Anla to have come out in public immediately with the motives for doing this, rather than being caught with the hand in the till via chaos logs though ...
I still feel sorry for the ordinary taggart rank and file, and like I said to GunnyP all those months ago when Ragnar was deposed and the war came to an end;
"I have no grudge against taggart as a corp, everything I did was simple self defense in the face of fiscal aggression".
So, in my opinion, I think the best approach here would be to take Anla at his word and assume it was (and will be) now entirely in-game. And consequences of this theft should be played out in-game.
I honestly do not believe that ranting about out of game sanctions and such will achieve anything creditable at this stage.
I hope GunnyP can continue to change TTI for the better, and I hope Anla has the courage to defend his actions in-game with all the blood and fury this prelude to vicious kanly deserves.
At last its been a massively revealing issue though, and very interesting. Both from the perspective of game vulnerabilities and from a rare glimpse at internal TTI politics.

I think that well of opportunity dried up when Ragnar quit and Taggart renounced the Transpiratical alliance Viceroy.
You don't seem to be having much luck on the free battleship score.

This kind of intrigue is facinating and bespeaks a level of political interchange and content beneath the ordinary interaction of "pwned you" "did not" "did so, "DID NOT" "STFU noob!" that so often covers the boards in a layer of tripe.
